Tommy cancels his ascent

The decision was hard. However, I decided to cancel. Two weeks of missing time for acclimatisation, the need of passing several serac zones at bad conditions and the missing opportunity of the use of skis at high altitude makes the ascent too dangerous for me.

Unfortunately, the available equipment is not sufficient for an ascent of the Kinshofer route at the same time. Even when sharing tents with other groups at C1 and C2, the tent of C3 would have to be moved to C4 later, but the only available tent is a 4 person tent of 6 m², and myself digging twice for 6 m² at 6.800 and 7.200 m is a mission impossible.
